Couple of wool appliques

Thumb is starting to feel better, easing back into some stitching.  These are a couple I made in the last few months.  Made My first internet sale on ETSY yesterday!  Hope to sell a few more to fuel my wool habit!
Made for a friend just because!

    I just love the one you made for your friend. Beautiful. Did you cut the backing out into that shape or cut away after stitching the petals down? It's really unique!
